Joel once said to me you make your own luck. Now I don't know if we are lucky or if we are very good at making our own luck BUT we've come across someone whom we are very honoured and proud to soon call part of CFSW.

Ben and his wife Mandie have been good friends of ours for just over 5 years. Actually the photo of Ben swinging a KB is from CFSW's Open Day 3 and a half years ago. They were part of our Demo Crew and offered us so much support in the early days of building CFSW.

Ben gave 10 years military service. Is a former Navy Clearance Diver and has been training CrossFit since 2008 and used it to pass the Navy's Clearance Diver selection test and continued using it through his career within the Australian Defence Force.

Ben was a CrossFit coach for 6 months in Bali and Worked in CrossFit gyms on the East and West Coast of Australia.

Ben is an ASCA level 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach, CrossFit Level 1 Coach and also runs an online training platform to prepare military recruits for the physical and mental requirements of the ADF.

He will take the role of head coach in Bunbury as of Monday the 28th when Nass moves on to Perth.

Ben and Mandie are expecting a baby early next year and have chosen Bunbury as their home. You will see them around the gym very soon so please offer your friendship and welcome them into our community :)
