One event we can't wait for and is tipped to sell out quickly is Matt Blackwell at Monster Kitchen and Bar. Hailing from the UK and currently leading the kitchen at Brisbane's Good Food Guide hatted GOMA, Blackwell earned his stripes at celebrity chef Michael O'Hare's Leeds restaurant, The Man Behind The Curtain, where they were awarded one Michelin Star in their first year of opening.
In pursuit of a sea change, Blackwell spent time across the Tasman at acclaimed Auckland restaurant Sidart, which scored three hats and the title of Restaurant of the Year during his tenure. He also spent time at two-hatted Ides restaurant in Melbourne before making the move to Brisbane and GOMA.
