Benesse is looking for an experienced Assistant Cafe Manager within our Australind cafe. In this role, you will directly assist the Cafe Manager in leading a dynamic team to deliver the Benesse values and be part of our future growth.

What the role requires (but is not limited to):
Suitable experience in a similar role or relevant hospitality experience
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, interact & lead a team of 10+ people
Confidence in multitasking so that you can supervise AND execute smooth, efficient and friendly service.
Professional manner and confidence in communicating with management (Cafe Manager, Head Chef, HR etc.)
Ability to remain organised & show attention to detail in completing administrational duties, i.e. ordering, stock control, managing deliveries
Creativity and passion for driving and developing the business
Desirable attributes:
Prior management or supervisory experience in a high volume and busy cafe/restaurant setting
Experience/knowledge of rostering within wage and COG budgets, ensuring profitability
