Good news! The Queensland Government has announced a $175 Cost of Living Rebate for Queensland households. Because Queensland’s power assets are publicly owned, Queenslanders are able to share in the dividends they produce. The Cost of Living Rebate will make life just that little bit easier.
The rebate will be applied automatically as a credit to all eligible residential electricity accounts from 31 August 2022, and will appear on bills issued after this date.
