You will need to be well-versed in cheese characteristics and be familiar with Tasmanian, Australian and international cheeses of all styles. You will have worked with cheese in your professional life, either as a cheesemonger, chef, retailer or wholesaler of fine gourmet foods where cheeses have been part of your range.
Your role will involve ordering, cutting, wrapping, merchandising and of course, selling cheese. You will have excellent customer service and be confident holding tastings, talking to customers about cheese and selling cheese.
