Due to business growth we have an opportunity for an Assistant Planner to join our exciting City Chic team.
Our Planning team work side by side with the Buying team looking at trend analysis, best sellers, forecasting stock, building bottom up sales plans, replenishment and marketing plans – to name just a few of the tasks in this team!
Reporting directly to the Senior Planner and working in a friendly established team, you will utilise your analytical skills and not be afraid to have broad responsibilities and be flexible to get the job done.
The Assistant Planner is responsible for:
Assist in managing flow lines & identify repeat orders
Regularly Rec Flow lines ensuring accurate forecasts are in by week for efficient flow of intake
Work closely with the Assistant Buyer to accurately capture and upload orders into the system, ensuring all attributes and style details are correctly captured and flow through to reporting accurately
Ensure Intake / On Order is matched back accurately to Plan
Assist Planner & Junior Planner with ad hoc tasks including ad hoc analysis, reporting and accurately entering information into the system & presenting this to other team members.
Monitor critical path to ensure that all deliveries are on time and in line with sales plan
Focusing on delivery of key ranges, promotional and advertised items
Ensure system integrity – information management and reporting
Replenishments; setting product, monitoring and management of replenishment model
Liaise regularly with internal and external customer/suppliers including, operations, Brand team, logistics, warehouse
To be successful you will have
1-2 year experience in a buying/planning department in either a buying admin, allocator or production coordinator capacity
Exposure of dealing with third party vendors and knowledge of supply chain
Efficient in Microsoft, in particular Excel
