Our first competition is now over, we have our winners and “Winter” has ended... That doesn't mean we can't have another contest to find some more great poets and writers, like our two winners Mathew and Alexandra.

So what can we do for our next competition? So many themes, ideas and wondrous wonder springs to mind. Hang on, why can't we just? No. We can't do that, can we?

Okay, it's settled! Let us make the next competition about Creativity, send us your best, you most imagined idea, either poetry or short story. Set your mind free to discover new horizons, travel from the deepest catacombs to the highest mountains, find new fantastic lands and even other worlds! Bring us something that inspires, makes us readers feel, cry, laugh out loud, scared, shocked, grumpy or create a more artistic marvel. Bring us your best poem or short story!

We will be accepting entries until the 17th of September 2016, and the guidelines will be as usual; unpublished piece, maximum 1500 words for the short story and 50 lines for the poems. Gold Coast Novel Writers with Writers Activation to bring this competition to you, please enter and bring us something great!

Keep an eye out for the upcoming guidelines and event.
