Senior Curator, Natural Sciences | POS0306 | Full-time
The Senior Curator Natural Sciences is a member of the QVMAG Curatorial Team. Working closely with the Team Leader Curatorial and other members of the team, the role will plan, manage, and implement programs for the strategic development of the collection, exhibitions, interpretation, research, promotion and care of the Natural Sciences collection, which comprises the QVMAG's Zoology, Botany and Geology Collections.

Working closely with the General Manager Creative Arts and Cultural Services, the Team Leader Curatorial will oversee and implement the strategic curatorial services of the institution. The role will similarly assist in the development, presentation, interpretation, research, promotion and administrative requirements of QVMAG collection and non-collection projects whilst working collaboratively with peers, colleagues and community through local, state, national and international networks to foster relationships and grow the scope and value of the Collection ensuring the greatest possible reach, engagement and impact.
